Day 0:
Road Trip Begins!
Buckle up
and set out from Delhi (NCR) for an epic road trip adventure! Relish a
delicious dinner in Muzaffarnagar, where you can enjoy local delicacies and
fuel up for the journey ahead (dinner on your own dime).
As night
falls, settle in for an overnight ride to Rishikesh. Prepare for an early start
as we hit the road again at 4 AM, embarking on a journey through the serene
landscapes of northern India.
Day 1:
Mountain Magic
Our first
stop is the awe-inspiring Devprayag, where the holy rivers Bhagirathi and
Alaknanda converge to form the sacred Ganga. This confluence is a spiritual
sight to behold and a perfect start to our Himalayan adventure.
Next,
we’ll visit Dhari Devi, a revered temple that offers both spiritual solace and
a hearty breakfast. Feel the divine energy of this sacred site as you prepare
for the day's journey.
By
evening, we'll arrive in the breathtaking Chopta Valley. Check-in to your
accommodation, attend an evening briefing to get the lowdown on the days ahead,
and enjoy a delicious dinner. Then, it’s time to rest and recharge for the
adventures to come.
Day 2:
Trekking Triumph
Wake up to
the crisp mountain air and start your day with a hearty breakfast. Then, gear
up for an exhilarating trek to the Tungnath Temple, a 3.5 km ascent that will
challenge and reward you with spectacular views.
From
Tungnath, continue on to the Chandrashila Summit, just 1.5 km further, where
you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of some of the most majestic peaks in the
Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trishul, and Kedarnath.
After
soaking in the stunning scenery, return to your stay for a well-deserved dinner
and a restful night, reflecting on the triumph of the day’s trek.
Day 3:
Lakeside Bliss
Rise early
to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the mountains and enjoy a hearty
breakfast to fuel your day.
Next, head
to Sari Village for the Deoriatal Trek. This 2.5 km hike takes you to a serene
lake offering a spectacular view and a peaceful spot for some solo
reflection.
Spend some time basking in the tranquility by the lake before descending back to Sari Village.
In the
afternoon, we’ll depart for Rishikesh/Haridwar and begin our journey back to
Delhi (NCR) with an overnight ride, cherishing the memories of our Himalayan
adventure.
Day 4:
Home Sweet Home
Arrive back in Delhi around 5-6 AM, concluding an incredible journey through the Himalayas.
